Sever is set in Havre de Grace, Maryland, located at the head of the Chesapeake Bay. One of the city's iconic landmarks is the Concord Point Lighthouse, where Syn and Damian spend some time in the PAST.

A well and a key are pretty big elements in The Line That Binds series. Different pictures of the key and well below made the covers of both books.

The key pictures were taken by a friend of mine who collects old skeleton keys. The well pictures I took while visiting friends and family in my home state, Pennsylvania--also the setting of the series.
